These terms apply to LumaV app and website features that are made available to you, including local-first planning, optional account services, support, referrals, scenario sharing, and beta or preview features.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using LumaV, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app or website.

2. What LumaV Does

LumaV is software for personal finance organization, FIRE planning, scenario modeling, watchlists, holdings, ledger tracking, multi-currency display, support, referrals, optional sync, website dashboard access, and related educational calculations. Some features may be beta, preview-only, disabled, or available only to selected testers.

3. Not Financial Advice

LumaV is not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, tax adviser, legal adviser, or retirement adviser. Calculations, projections, readiness scores, market data, news, and scenario results are for informational and educational purposes only. You are responsible for your financial decisions.

4. Assumptions and Projections

FIRE projections, Monte Carlo-style scenarios, readiness scores, savings rates, retirement ages, and net worth forecasts depend on user-entered data and assumptions. Actual results may differ due to market performance, inflation, taxes, life events, interest rates, employment changes, spending behavior, and other risks.

5. User Responsibilities

• Provide accurate information when using the app.
• Protect your device, login credentials, and biometric access.
• Use shared scenario links responsibly.
• Comply with applicable laws and third-party terms.
• Consult qualified professionals before making major financial, tax, legal, or investment decisions.

6. Market Data and Third-Party Content

LumaV may display market prices, exchange rates, ticker details, and financial news from third-party providers. We do not guarantee that market data is real-time, complete, accurate, or available at all times.

7. Accounts, Referrals, and Support

If LumaV provides account registration, referral links, coupon codes, support tickets, bug reports, or feature request flows, you agree to provide accurate information and not misuse those features. Referral rewards, coupons, discounts, and promotions, if any, may be changed, paused, limited, or discontinued.

8. Optional Sync, Plaid, Advisor, and Dashboard Features

Optional cloud, sync, Plaid, advisor, expert-review, and website dashboard features may require account authentication and third-party services. Plaid aggregation may run in sandbox, development, or production depending on the deployed build and credentials. Do not use sandbox-only flows with real financial credentials. Advisor and expert-review features do not create an adviser, attorney, CPA, or fiduciary relationship unless you separately enter into a written agreement with a qualified professional.

9. Payments and Subscriptions

If LumaV enables paid digital features, subscriptions, or packages, purchases must be completed through the applicable app store billing system unless a lawful exception applies. Planned packages are Launch, Grow, and Wealth. Prices, included features, renewal terms, cancellation, refund handling, and entitlement access will be shown in the purchase flow or store listing.

10. Scenario Sharing

Shared scenario links are intended to expose only the selected scenario’s inputs, assumptions, and results. Recipients may view shared scenarios and may copy them into their own account if supported. You are responsible for deciding what scenario information you share.

11. Cross-Border, Tax, and Legal Planning

LumaV may ask for country, currency, tax residency, citizenship or legal status, filing status, cost basis, rental income, medical expense, and employer-benefit inputs to avoid guessing. Any country, tax, estate, legal, drawdown, or retirement outputs are educational estimates only and may be incomplete or inapplicable to your situation.

12. Acceptable Use

You may not reverse engineer, abuse, scrape, overload, interfere with, or use LumaV for illegal activity. You may not attempt to access another user’s data without permission.

13. Intellectual Property

LumaV, LumaVault AI, related branding, design, software, and content are owned by LumaVault AI or its licensors. These terms do not transfer ownership rights to you.

14. No Warranty

LumaV is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim warranties to the fullest extent allowed by law, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, LumaVault AI is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, financial losses, investment losses, or reliance on projections.

16. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of LumaV after changes means you accept the updated terms.
